Bearer (BPS-05) Jobs at Chief Minister’s Secretariat Sindh, Karachi – 2 Vacancies

Overview

The Chief Minister’s Secretariat / House, Sindh requires applications for two (02) vacant positions of Bearer (BPS-05) in Karachi. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 28 years, subject to applicable Government of Sindh rules on upper-age relaxation.

Requirements

• Matriculation with at least a “C” grade from a recognized Board of Education.
• At least one (01) year of experience in a hotel, restaurant or with a caterer.
• Successful completion of the General Screening Test (Matriculation Category) conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS), with at least 40% marks.
• Possession of the certificate issued by STS.

Required Skills

• Clearing and cleaning tables.
• Communicating with kitchen staff.
• Serving drinks and food.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Important Details

Domicile and PRC/Form-D certificates submitted on or before the application closing date will be accepted. Certificates acquired or submitted after the cut-off date will not be entertained.

Applicants already in Government Service must obtain an NOC from their department before applying and bring the original NOC for submission before the Departmental Selection Committee at the interview.

Appointments will be made under the policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26-04-2023 and the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973 and its rule, as amended from time to time. Age will be calculated on the application closing date in accordance with Rule 7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024. Reserved quotas will be observed where applicable.

Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained. Shortlisted applicants must appear before the Departmental Selection Committee with their original documents according to the interview schedule uploaded on the Job Portal. No TA & DA will be admissible for the interview.
