Responsibilities
- Perform predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment to support smooth and reliable plant operations.
- Monitor equipment condition, identify potential problems early and provide input to prevent failures.
- Carry out routine inspections and testing, and report abnormalities to supervisors.
- Recommend technical improvements for equipment reliability and performance.
- Assist senior staff with the installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
- Respond to emergency call-outs, troubleshoot system problems and minimize downtime.
- Keep diagnostic tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow and implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for personnel and equipment safety.
