Zoological Survey of Pakistan Research Assistant and Field Observer Jobs (BPS-10)

Overview

The Zoological Survey of Pakistan, Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination, Government of Pakistan, invites applications for three regular BPS-10 vacancies. The posts carry a Balochistan quota and are based in Islamabad.

Vacancies

• Research Assistant (BPS-10): 02 posts; Balochistan quota; posting in Islamabad.
• Field Observer (BPS-10): 01 post; Balochistan quota; posting in Islamabad.

Qualifications and Age Limit

For both posts, applicants must hold a B.Sc with Zoology, or an F.Sc with 02 years of experience in the relevant field. The stated age limit is 18–26 years.

All candidates are entitled to an upper-general age relaxation of five years. Candidates from Balochistan are allowed an additional 05 years of relaxation in the maximum age limit for this special exercise.

Important Conditions

1. Recruitment will follow the criteria and mechanism defined by the Establishment Division through O.M No. 2/5/2026-BEFC/001 dated 22nd October, 2026.
2. Selected candidates must submit a Medical Certificate as required under Rule 17 of the Civil Servant (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer), 1973. If a candidate is declared medically unfit, the post will be offered to the alternate candidate.
3. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for a walk-in-interview.
4. Government servants must apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained.
5. Incomplete applications, advance copies and applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
6. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the walk-in-interview.
